Hampshire, UK - Hampshire Marketing has launched Hampshire Bookings, a WordPress plugin designed to help small businesses manage class and session bookings without the complexity of traditional booking systems.
The plugin has been developed with a clear focus. Many small businesses need a straightforward way to list availability, take bookings, and accept payments online. What they often find instead are tools that are either too limited to be useful, or overly complex for what they actually need day to day.
Hampshire Bookings is intended to sit between those two extremes.
"We built this because we kept seeing the same issue," said Henry Charles, founder of Hampshire Marketing. "Businesses did not need more features. They needed something they could actually use without spending hours figuring it out."
The plugin allows users to create classes or time-based sessions, display them on their website, and let customers book and pay through a simple checkout flow. It also includes capacity controls to prevent overbooking and a clean interface for managing bookings inside WordPress.
Rather than trying to cater for every possible use case, Hampshire Bookings has been designed specifically for structured bookings. This includes things like fitness classes, workshops, and group sessions, where availability is based on defined times rather than individual appointments.
The product has already been used in a live client environment. During a recent website rebuild for Enjoy Fitness Studio, Hampshire Marketing replaced a third-party booking system that had been slowing down the customer experience and causing friction at checkout.
As part of that project, Hampshire Bookings introduced:
- a basket system allowing customers to book multiple classes in one transaction
- Stripe payments designed around secure, compliant handling
- a simple dashboard for managing schedules and bookings
- payment link reminders to recover incomplete bookings
The result was a noticeable shift in how the business operated.
Before the rebuild, the studio relied heavily on walk-ins and manual payments. After implementation, customers were encouraged to book in advance, and sessions began filling up more consistently.

"Working with Hampshire Marketing has been a breath of fresh air," said Mark Mayes, Owner of Enjoy Fitness Studio. "The new site is fast, looks great, and finally gives us control. It is also helping us reach more people locally, which is exactly what we needed."
Hampshire Marketing has taken a deliberate approach to positioning the product.
"We are not trying to compete with enterprise booking systems," Charles added. "If a business needs complex staff scheduling or advanced automation, there are tools built for that. This is for businesses that just want a reliable way to run bookings without the usual friction."
The plugin can also be adapted for other types of bookings where a simple, structured setup is sufficient. This includes use cases such as basic appointment slots or reservations, provided the business does not require more advanced scheduling logic.
Hampshire Bookings integrates with Stripe for payments and is designed to work cleanly across desktop and mobile devices. It is available as a WordPress plugin and can be installed directly into an existing site.
The launch reflects Hampshire Marketing's broader approach to product development and client work, focusing on practical solutions that are easy to understand and use.
"Most of our clients do not want another system to learn," said Charles. "They want something that fits into how they already work. That is what we have tried to build here."
Hampshire Bookings is now available.
